“Mike, I am Karen’s big cousin and I live in Hong Kong so couldn’t make the wedding. I was gutted but I am so pleased to see these photos. They are amazing. I know that it is not hard to show how gorgeous Karen is but you did such an amazing job. Just lovely!”.
“Mike thanks for creating these stunning photos that we will cherish forever. We had a ball and you were a big part of that as we didn’t want to spend hours getting photos taken. Your approach was bang-on and we will definitely recommend you in future.”.
The second of my “triple header” wedding weekend took me pretty close to home – the Westerwood Hotel in Cumbernauld to be exact, via a ceremony at the Sacred Heart Church first of all, for Karen & Mark’s big day.
It’s never easy shooting two weddings on two consecutive days, let alone three. As soon as I get home at night, it’s straight into uploading all the images from that day, recharging all the batteries, cleaning lenses etc etc. But, needs must, as wedding photography can be fairly seasonal, with, I’d say, about 90% of weddings crammed into the months between March and October. Ah, come November, I’ll be putting my feet up I guess.
