So guys, here we go with part 3 of my “Airth Castle Trilogy” and this time around, I was back at the Castle the day after the last one, and it’s kind of odd when you walk in and see a lot of the people you’d shot the day before, just milling around…and I guess from their point of view they’re doing a “double take” as they see me walking in again, probably wondering if I’d even gone home – I had, just to clarify!!!
So what can I say about Alana & Craig’s big day? Smoke bombs, a Stags v Hens “face off”, Prosecco Cart, a fabulous crowd and a total blast to shoot. And, as they say, the pictures do very much tell the story so I’m kind of gonna leave you with that :-). That said, I was delighted to get a wee review in from the guys the other day that went like this…thanks guys :-)…
“I stumbled across Mike Cook Photography on Instagram, while searching for inspiration upon booking my venue. I loved the images he shared and his style of photography, they seemed so natural and exactly what we were looking for. I knew straight away I needed him for my wedding day!
This was 100% the best choice for our wedding. Myself and Craig aren’t really great in-front of the camera and we loved every minute of our wedding shoot. Mike made the whole experience so smooth, helping us feel at ease and all of our requests to capture extra pictures of Prosecco Cart/Smoke Bombs where gladly taken onboard.
Our wedding guests all love to party and are always up for a laugh. Mike captured the whole essence of our day perfectly!
We have had all of our proofs back and honestly love every photo. It really does tell the whole story of the day and night. Narrowing it down for the album was a challenge as they were all so great.
Thanks Again Mike for our amazing pictures these are something we will cherish for a lifetime!

Looking for some “Ninja Style” Wedding Photography?
I love shooting weddings and, for the most part, I adopt a “ninja style” low key approach to the day! Most couples tell me they didn’t even notice me for the majority of the day and that suits me…it is your wedding day after all, not a photo-shoot! But, I will always make time for a very small number of family group shots and also, a relaxed bride & groom shoot and here, it’s my aim to provide you with some truly amazing pictures…not just your standard stuff :-). To know more about my wedding day approach to how I shoot weddings, just click here.
I’m mainly taking bookings now for 2021…but I do have a limited number of 2020 dates still available too.
Full day coverage collections start at £1500…but don’t forget my cheeky wee discount where you can save up to £500 :-).
Mike :-).
