Collette & Gary’s big day at Dalziel Park back at the end of September marked the start of my final “triple header” weekend, my third in as many weeks, many of those weddings having originally been postponed due to the pandemic, so a few weeks off after this was very welcomed, if nothing else but to catch up on myself and actually start working on the edits and album designs :-).
As I sit here now typing this, four weddings into 2022 (and another tomorrow) it does actually feel like things, wedding speaking anyway, have returned to normal. In fact, in a few days time, there’ll no longer be a requirement for me to wear a mask all day long, and let me tell you guys, that is very welcome news indeed – I’ve had to develop a whole new way of shooting over the past couple of years, ie, only pressing the shutter when I’m breathing in … to avoid “fogging” the viewfinder LOL. Fingers crossed that we never return to the dark days of the pandemic again!
Anyway, enough waffle guys … on with the pictures from this amazing day …
Collette & Gary, thank you very much for choosing me to shoot your fabulous day! Here’s a few of my favourite shots which I hope you all like.
Looking for “Reportage” Wedding Photography?
If you’re on the look-out for a wedding photographer (or know someone who is), then you may just like my “ninja style” (a couple’s words, not mine) low key approach to the day! Most couples tell me they didn’t even notice me for the majority of the day and that suits me…it is your wedding day after all, not a photo-shoot!
My style is very unposed, unfussy and focuses more on documenting your day rather than directing it. Minimal group shots (or even none at all if you prefer) and short bride & groom shoots allow you spend more of the day with the people that matter and have a total blast!
I’m mainly taking bookings now for 2023 and 2024 … but I do now only shoot one wedding per weekend so dates can be very limited during peak times.
Full day coverage collections start at £1800 … but don’t forget my cheeky wee discount where you can save up to £500 :-).
Oh, and please do feel free to leave a comment at the bottom of the page, as I do really love to know what you think :-).
Mike :-).
