For my second wedding this year back in early March, and also my last before the lockdown kicked in :-(, I headed back to the venue where I’ve shot more weddings than anywhere else, The Vu, for Sammie & Craig’s big day!
To say it was a wee bit wet & windy would probably be an understatement … you only need to look at the shots below to see that. But you know guys, we live in Scotland, so it kind of goes with the teritory to a degree, right LOL. And, as I’ve said before, “iffy” weather never spolit a great party and that was exactly the case this very day.
The guys were kind enough to put a few words together for me to sum up their thoughts …
Mike did a brilliant job from the initial booking stages to the package we wanted right up to the bridal pictures on the morning of the wedding and our wedding photos. AMAZING. Mike really is a stealthy photographer like he says. I think we saw him twice the whole day (apart from the family shots :-)). He makes you feel comfortable and you are in complete control of your pictures all the time. And nothing is a problem. We even had him out in the wind and rain!

Thanks guys for these very kind words. And yeah, wind & rain shots are no problem for me … kind of goes with the job – more kudos though to couples who are happy to venture outside in these kind of conditions as not all will!!!

Looking for some “Ninja Style” Wedding Photography?
Despite the current lockdown guys, I am very much still working so, if you’re on the look-out for a wedding photographer (or know someone who is), then you may just like my “ninja style” (a couple’s words, not mine) low key approach to the day! Most couples tell me they didn’t even notice me for the majority of the day and that suits me…it is your wedding day after all, not a photo-shoot! But, I will always make time for a very small number of family group shots and also, a short bride & groom shoot and here, it’s my aim to provide you with some truly fabulous pictures :-). I’m mainly taking bookings now for 2021, 2022 & even 2023!…but I do have a very limited number of “off peak” 2020 dates still available too (though not many Saturdays!)
Full day coverage collections start at £1500…but don’t forget my cheeky wee discount where you can save up to £500 :-).
