Looking out the window just now, with the freezing sleet coming down in buckets, it’s hard to believe that it’s Spring :-(. So, let me take you back to a time when it was just a wee bit warmer and the leaves were still on the trees…yep, I know, I sound like a kid’s storyteller!
Mid October last year is that time folks as I continue onward through “blogland” and all the fabulous weddings I’ve shot. The place, Dunblane Hydro, where I think it’s fair to say I’ve been quite a few times now – was there last weekend in fact. The occasion, Lynsey & Robert’s wedding day and what a great day it was too :-).
The great thing about Autumn weddings is that it affords us the chance to not only get the usual shots during the day, where we made good use of the tree lined drive and the views up the hill to the Hydro, but also, after dinner, hey it’s turned dark and that can only mean one thing? No, I don’t turn into a vampire!!! What I “do” do, is break out the speedlites for some night time shots and, the shots we got this time around are some of my favourites from the day…well worth the ten minutes or so after dinner!
Lynsey & Robert, thank you very much for choosing me to shoot your fabulous day. Here’s a few of my favourite shots which I hope you all like…PS – best viewed on a desktop (click on any thumbnail to view L A R G E!).
Please all feel free to leave a comment at the bottom, as I love to know what you think…cheers all!

Getting Married & Looking for some “Ninja Style” Wedding Photography?
I love shooting weddings and, for the most part, I adopt a “ninja style” low key approach to the day! Most couples tell me they didn’t even notice me for the majority of the day and that suits me…it is your wedding day after all, not a photo-shoot! But, I will always make time for those important family group shots and also, a relaxed bride & groom shoot and here, it’s my aim to provide you with some truly amazing pictures…not just your standard stuff :-). To know more about my wedding day approach to how I shoot weddings, just click here.
Full day coverage collections start at £1300…but don’t forget my cheeky wee discount where you can save up to £400 :-).
Mike :-).
