Well it’s been quite some time since I blogged a wedding, not that I haven’t been busy…in fact, quite the opposite – last weekend I shot my 52nd wedding of the year, making this my busiest yet. So, boys and girls, blogging has had to take a back seat for a while while I’ve been in the midst of the busy wedding season. But (he says with an outpouring of breath), things are quietening down a wee bit now so picking up where I left off.
So, today, I’m very pleased to be featuring some images from Stephanie & Fraser’s wedding at the very wonderful Kinkell Byre in St. Andrew’s back at the start of June. This was my first time here and what a contrast to the usual venues that I shoot at. Google tells me that this was once a collection of farm buildings and I’m not going to argue with that – all full of rustic charm and charachter and what a view overlooking the sea as well :-).
But, I’ve got to tell you this one thing…despite the sunshine and blue skies, this was without doubt the windiest conditions that I’ve ever shot a wedding in, so much so that for all the family group shots, we were forced indoors to do them. Talk about gusts…even my hairstyle was in jeopardy!!!
Stephanie & Fraser, a big thank you for choosing me to shoot your wedding day and for braving the windy conditions to get your bride & groom shots. Here’s just a few of my own favourites which I hope you like – click on any image to enlarge.
Please leave a comment…I love to know what you think
Family & friends (plus anyone else who might stop by), it would be fantastic if you could leave a comment at the bottom of the post (using either of the comment box options) as I love to hear what you think :-). Also, if you really like these pictures, why not give me a “Like” on my Facebook page to keep in touch with what I’m up to – would be great to have you on board!
