Hot on the heels of my safe return from the Isle of Arran, next stop on this year’s wedding whirlwind was one of my favourite venues, and one that I’ve been to many times now, the fabulous Oran Mor, right in the heart of Glasgow’s West End. The reason…Gemma & Kyle’s big day :-).
And here’s a thing…you know you’ve been in business quite a while when, not only the reception venue, but even the church where the ceremony is held is somewhere you’ve been to before…namely, St. Patrick’s in Dumbarton – was last here for Lauren & Fergus’s wedding a couple of years back and, would you believe it…well, you probably would, it poured with rain that day and it poured with rain this one as well :-(. But, let me tell you, no amount of rain put a dampener on this wedding day…totally fabulous and, we did even manage a quick excursion outside Oran Mor for a few shots later in the day. despite the conditions.
Gemma & Kyle, a big thank you for choosing me to shoot your fantastic day. Here’s just a few of my own favourites which I hope you like – click on any image to enlarge.
Cast Of Thousands (well, a few suppliers who made the day possible at least :-))
