Wedding no.7 of the year for me was part two of my first “double header” weekend of the year and I was back on my second visit to the fabulous Inglewood House for the wedding of Niki & Steven.
I do get asked from time to time how many weddings I will shoot “on the spin” if you like and my answer to that is in fact “two”, that’s where I draw the line. In the past I have tackled three in a row and, on two occasions, actually shot four in a row…yes folks, four weddings on four consecutive days. But, my view these days is that in order to be able to give my very best on a wedding day, I will shoot no more than two!
The first time I came to Inglewood House, the wedding was very informal and I’d been asked to actually not shoot too many bride & groom “posed” shots, for want of a better word. So, this time around, it was great to get out for a bit longer with the guys and really make use of the surroundings and, also, the small area of woodland to the rear of the venue that I didn’t even know was there on my previous visit :-)…note to self to remember this for next time!
