Ashley & Bruce’s wedding was my first of 2014 and also the last of my 5 weddings in two weeks over the Xmas and New Year period…phew. But, you know, despite the pretty awful weather that accompanied each and every wedding, I thoroughly enjoyed shooting over this period. Of course, weddings are always joyous, happy occasions anyway but, it always feels that there’s that little extra something in the air with weddings at this time of the year :-).
I’m not going to bore you guys by regaling more tales about wet weather weddings (although I guess I just did) but, to put another spin on things, let’s just say that the precipitation levels were slightly higher than average! So, a touch wet then, again. But, hey, just as a few days previous when I was here, we did get a bit of a break post ceremony…just enough time to fit in a few group and bride & groom shots followed by a precarious (for me anyway) shot of everyone on the steps done to the beach. Precarious, why…well I think this picture taken by one of the guests tells it all…the dangers of being a wedding photographer!
win a portrait shoot
Ashley & Bruce, a big thank you for asking me to photograph your wedding day. Here’s some of my favourite images from the day. Please do all leave a comment or two at the bottom of the post as it’s always very much appreciated. And, as a new little extra, each and every one of you who leaves a comment, will be entered into a monthly draw to win a portrait shoot worth £75.
Plus, what would be really fantastic, is a “Like” on my Facebook page as it’s always great to get new people on board and it’ll keep you bang up to date with what I’m up to.

like this wedding? why not check out a few more…
Thanks for putting these up Mike – we like them better every time we see them! You did a great job on a very rainy, windy and cold day 🙂 We were all very glad you did not inadvertently do your own “loony dook” – it was a close call!!
Thank you Ashley, really pleased you like these. The more I look at the picture you sent me, the more I realise how close I was to the water than I thought at the time!
