For anyone that read my last wedding post on here (you know who you are :-)), you’ll know that Christmas definitely wasn’t a quiet time for me, and Chloe & Liam’s big day at Arta was to be the first of three weddings that I shot in the space of four days between Christmas & New Year – wow, so many numbers!
I’d only shot a couple of weddings before at Arta but I’ve got to say that I totally love it there – a very unique venue indeed with a kind of Mediterranean vibe courtyard, bringing the outside in, as they say. Then, of course, being in the Merchant City, there’s plenty of great spots around and about should you choose to head out, albeit this time around we stayed put, with the emphasis very much on simply capturing the day as it unfolded…and it is pretty chilly at this time of year too LOL.
I’ve got to tell you guys, I shoot around 50 weddings a year, but this day was certainly one of the ones that I’ll remember most – what a total blast! Kicked off in a very upbeat mood with the girls for bridal prep and just carried on right through the day, and with Ernest providing the entertainment at the end, well, how could you go wrong? I could talk more but, as usual, I’ll let the pictures tell the story..

Looking for some “Ninja Style” Wedding Photography?
I love shooting weddings and, for the most part, I adopt a “ninja style” low key approach to the day! Most couples tell me they didn’t even notice me for the majority of the day and that suits me…it is your wedding day after all, not a photo-shoot! But, I will always make time for those important family group shots and also, a relaxed bride & groom shoot and here, it’s my aim to provide you with some truly amazing pictures…not just your standard stuff :-).
