Hamilton Wedding Photography:
Kerrie Ann & Garry at Hamilton Park Racecourse

Start of three weddings in four days, kicking off with Kerrie Ann & Garry at Hamilton Park Racecourse. First time I’ve been here for a wedding (in fact first time ever, not being much of a horse racing fan) and the sun is absolutely blazing down – definitely the hottest wedding of the year so far (although that’s not saying much this summer).

For me, there’s a real relaxed feeling about today’s wedding – perfect for photography. In fact, the only issue I have is trying to find spots to avoid the harsh sunlight which, as any photographer will tell you, is not the best of conditions. That said, unless, I guess, you’re shooting in the middle of the desert (which today, or any other day for that matter, I am not), you’ll always find somewhere. If you read my post on the guys’ pre-wedding shoot, you’ll be aware that they live in Dubai (perhaps if I’d gone to them for their wedding, I may well have been shooting in the desert).

Hamilton Park is a really unique venue for a wedding, and I’ve got the run of the place for today – I’m even allowed on to the track so, of course, I can’t resist a few shots at the winning post. Plus, there’s the weighing room, the stables and the parade ring – would be stupid not to really wouldn’t it?

Guys, thank you for choosing me to photograph your wedding day and for going along with my ideas. Hope you like these images that I’ve selected below – the full set can be found in your online gallery.

Please leave a comment or two at the bottom of the post if you like these – it’s very much appreciated.
