Start of a really busy month for me (hey, wouldn’t want it any other way), and I’m just a few miles up the road in Dollar; Solsgirth House to be precise, for Karen & James’ wedding day. I’d met up with the guys earlier this week for their pre-wedding shoot back in Falkirk, and that was good laugh, so I knew today was going to be a good day all round, and that’s exactly how it turned out to be.
Solsgirth House is a great venue, totally private, so you have the whole place to yourself for the day, free to wander anywhere..even into the depths of the long grass (guys, you will know what I’m referring to here – I wouldn’t have looked out of place with a camouflaged hat and a tiger or two in the background). And guess what, even the weather’s playing ball today – a quick check of the forecast this morning suggested cloud and the chance of a shower…not a bit of it…bright sunshine all the way! Thank goodness I slapped on some factor 15 before I left the house this morning (been caught out too many times before).
Thanks guys for choosing me to photograph your wedding day – you were a great couple to photograph and I hope you like these images below, which are some of my favourites (full set of images can be found in the online gallery). Please feel free to leave a comment or two at the foot of the post to let me know what you think 🙂 ).
