Back in July, I started a run of four weddings in just five days with a visit down to one of my favourite venues, Lochside House Hotel for Victoria & Michael’s big day :-). Unusually, the first two weddings in this run were on a Tuesday and Wednesday – I say “unusual” due to the fact that I don’t get too many midweek weddings as a general rule…but to get two back to back is extremely rare! But hey ho, that’s the way it goes down sometimes.
My day started as usual with a wee bit of bridal prep and with Victoria and her six bridesmaids all getting ready, there was certainly plenty of lively moments to shoot 🙂 before heading off to St. John the Evangelist church for the ceremony and then down to Lochside for the reception.
And what fabulous weather we were blessed with on the day…if I could choose it, this would be it – a warm day, dry, little bit of cloud and a little bit of sun every now and then…all perfect conditions to capture those dramatic skies that I love so much :-).

Looking for some “Ninja Style” Wedding Photography?
I love shooting weddings and, for the most part, I adopt a “ninja style” low key approach to the day! Most couples tell me they didn’t even notice me for the majority of the day and that suits me…it is your wedding day after all, not a photo-shoot! But, I will always make time for those important family group shots and also, a relaxed bride & groom shoot and here, it’s my aim to provide you with some truly amazing pictures…not just your standard stuff :-).
