Boy, last September was a busy old month – eight weddings, two pre-wedding shoots and also a commercial shoot too. One of those weddings, and also the first of yet another “double header”, took me kind of all over the place for Nicola & Stevie’s big day.
As usual, I kicked off at the house with the bridal prep shots before heading to the Immaculate Conception Church in Maryhill for the ceremony. Then on to the reception at the Torrance Hotel but not before a stop off at the Glasgow Botanic Gardens en route for our bride & groom shoot…yep, it helps to be reasonably fit sometimes LOL.
For my next wedding the following day, I was at the one same place all day long…swings and roundabouts I guess!
Looking back at the these shots as I do when selecting some for the blog, I do think we managed to cram an awful lot of photography into the day, which included two bride & groom shoots – the aforementioned at the Botanics and then also an evening shoot after dark at the Torrance, and I think these are some of my favourites from the day…as you guys know I just love playing with light :-).

I love shooting weddings and, for the most part, I adopt a “ninja style” low key approach to the day! Most couples tell me they didn’t even notice me for the majority of the day and that suits me…it is your wedding day after all, not a photo-shoot!
