On pre-wedding shoot duty today with Emily & Ryan who are getting married at Edinburgh Zoo next month and I’m really looking forward to mixing it with the pandas and penguins come the big day! The guys are both from London and so left it up to me to pick a location for today’s shoot. As they were staying in Edinburgh during their visit, I suggested the Dean Village, where I’d done a few shoots before.
It’s hard to believe that the Dean Village is literally a stone’s throw away from the centre of Edinburgh, tucked away as it is with all its old world charm, where most people would just pass it by without knowing it was there. It’s a great spot for this type of shoot – in fact, the only negative is the large number of walkers, joggers and cyclists that frequent its paths; still, can’t have everything I guess.
Anyway, big thanks to Emily & Ryan for going along with all my ideas today. Here’s a selection of my favourite images. The full set can be found in the online gallery (password required).
