After a couple of recent weddings, I’m back out on pre-wedding shoot duty today in South Queensferry, one of my favourite places for these type of shoots. I’m with Suzanne & Andrew, who are getting married very shortly at The Three Kings in Falkirk, which I’m really looking forward to. But today was all about the pre-wedding shoot, trying out a few ideas, and chatting more about the wedding day. Weather wise, it was a real mixed bag, sun one minute, rain the next, grey skies, blue skies etc etc – I love a bit of variety (it’s the spice of life apparently).
Anyway, as I said, I love South Queensferry for these shoots. There’s so many different locations you can move between, and all within a short distance of each other. And, of course, you can’t come here without including the iconic road and rail bridges in the images as well.
Here’s just a wee selection of images from the shoot. The full set can be found in the online gallery (password required).
Please leave a comment at the bottom of the post if you like these (and even if you don’t…in the spirit of a balanced opinion, of course).

So right on the venue…South Queensferry is fab…North Queensferry and along the coast is great too. Nice balance of images, great choice of DoF and backdrops. Good work!
Thanks Claire, appreciate your comments.
