More portrait photography in Falkirk tonight and I seem to be doing quite a few pre-wedding shoots of late in Callendar Park, not that I’m complaining, as it’s only a few miles down the road and enables us to do some evening shoots at this time of year, such as tonight with Ailie & Peter. It’s a great time of the day to shoot portrait photography, with the sun low in the sky (if it’s out of course) providing some great natural light without the usual harsh shadows that you would get earlier in the day – love it!
The guys are getting married in July and I’m really looking forward to shooting their wedding up at Glenskirlie, a venue I seem to have visited quite a lot recently and, again, only a few miles down the road – anyway, must stop this obsession with mileage; anyone would think that I had a problem with travelling any great distance – not true my friends, just covered 250 miles on my last wedding down in Ayrshire – my philosophy “have car, will travel!”
