I’m going to be seeing a lot of Michelle & Damien over the next week! Today we did their pre-wedding shoot; on Saturday it’s their wedding day and then, on Monday, we’re doing a post wedding “Rock the Frock” session before they head off on honeymoon…phew! Probably fair to say that come Monday they probably know what I’m going to ask them to do before I even do, but that can’t be a bad thing as familiarity with anything usually leads to better results – that’s why I shout so loudly about these pre-wedding shoots, as in my opinion you definitely see a difference in the wedding images from couples that have had a pre-wedding shoot and those that haven’t. Anyway, I digress.
Rouken Glen Park is the destination for today’s shoot. Not been here before myself but got to say I’m pleasantly surprised with what it has to offer. Aside from what you usually get with parks, there’s a stunning waterfall that provides a great backdrop for any image, plus bridges and some stone seat things (sorry, that’s my best description). All good stuff but, as you know, all this is useless without a willing couple so, thanks guys for going along with my ideas today and I hope you like the images.
