Start of a busy weekend for me with two pre-wedding shoots and a portrait session to cram in. Kicking off today with Kareen & Kenny on their pre-wedding shoot in Glasgow Green. The guys are getting married in September at Loch Lomond and I really hope that the weather then is much better than it is today – drizzly light rain and overcast conditions, but hey, it is what it is, and Kareen & Kenny come from the Isle of Lewis so it’s not as though we can postpone for another day.
Onwards then – personally, I don’t mind the conditions but I’m always mindful that it’s not much fun for the couple standing around while I set up each shot. I think the gods are against us today as even the Doulton Fountain (usually a great location to shoot) is surrounded by fencing, presumably for repairs of sort. Fortunately, there’s a bench nearby and the guys are sporting enough to climb up and enable me to get a shot or two above the fence line.
