So I did promise that I’d keep the blog relatively up to date and, so far so good, the benefit being of course is that the actual day is still pretty fresh in my memory which is kind of important when writing the blog LOL. Just a few weeks on then and I’m delighted to be posting the wonderful time I spent with Erin & Scott on their big day at one of my favourite venues to work at, Boclair House.
Although I’d already shot a sprinkling of weddings this year, this day towards the end of April kicked off what I’d call the main “wedding season”, with barely a free weekend now until late Autumn but hey, that’s the way I like it as that means there’s always new stuff to share with you guys :-).
So what of the day? Well, just look at the pictures (which is, I guess, kind of the point LOL) but, to add to that, I’ve got to say that the guys were just “the best” to work with!!! And what a fabulous crowd too … always important especially for my mainly candid style of shooting.
OK … enough waffle from me … on with the pictures … and now that the longer days have kicked in, probably some of the last “night shots” that you’ll see for a wee while LOL.
Erin & Scott, thank you very much for choosing me to shoot your amazing wedding day! Here’s a few of my own favourite shots which I hope you all like. But please do let me know what you think – there’s a space for comments below the pictures :-).
Looking for Wedding Photography?
If you’re on the look-out for a wedding photographer (or know someone who is), then you may just like my “ninja style” (a couple’s words, not mine) low key approach to the day! Most couples tell me they didn’t even notice me for the majority of the day and that suits me … it is your wedding day after all, not a photo-shoot!
My style is very unposed, unfussy and focuses more on documenting your day rather than directing it. Minimal group shots (or even none at all if you prefer) and short couple shoots allow you spend more of the day with the people that matter and have a total blast!
I’m mainly taking bookings now for 2024 & 2025 but do still have some limited availability for this year too … but I do now only shoot one wedding per weekend so dates can be very limited during peak times.
