About a month ago, I was back once again at the very gorgeous Cornhill Castle (where by chance I was the following weekend too!), this time to shoot Amy & Stephen’s amazing day :-).
It’s funny how I get to shoot so many weddings at Cornhill; it’s not exactly on my doorstep and over an hours drive away on a good day! I guess it’s one of those things where you shoot one, preview it on Facebook/Instagram, blog it and so on and so forth and, all being well (the power of social media and all that) it gets seen, other Cornhill couples see it, like it, book you and round it goes again etc etc LOL. Anyway, all that aside, it’s a great venue and I’m always pleased to keep coming back :-).
The day itself was exactly perfect for the way I shoot a wedding; just a sprinkling of group shots and two short couple shoots (one before and one after dinner) and a great crowd providing me with plenty of opportunities for those candid shots that I totally love – honestly, the perfect mix :-).
OK … enough waffle from me … on with the pictures …

Looking for Wedding Photography?
If you’re on the look-out for a wedding photographer (or know someone who is), then you may just like my “ninja style” (a couple’s words, not mine) low key approach to the day! Most couples tell me they didn’t even notice me for the majority of the day and that suits me … it is your wedding day after all, not a photo-shoot!
My style is very unposed, unfussy and focuses more on documenting your day rather than directing it. Minimal group shots (or even none at all if you prefer) and short couple shoots allow you spend more of the day with the people that matter and have a total blast!
I’m mainly taking bookings now for 2024 & 2025 but do still have some limited availability for this year too … but I do now only shoot one wedding per weekend so dates can be very limited during peak times.
