My first wedding blog of the year for you today guys, and I’m kicking off with a stormer – Heather & Chris’s wedding at the very fabulous Altskeith House that I shot as the first of a “double header” weekend just before Christmas. Although I’d driven by it many times, this was my first wedding at Altskeith House and what a setting it is :-), right on the banks of Loch Ard – in my opinion, it would look amazing whatever the weather. Call me a mysterious type but, I’m quite drawn to settings such as this when there’s just a hint of “moodiness” in the sky…and I think we got that.
I knew one of the reasons the guys booked me was for the images I create using off camera flash, and, being a winter wedding, I got plenty of opportunities to “play”! And a little light rain in the air didn’t spoil things too much either. Big shout out to Chris as well who waded knee deep into the loch to carry the girls back and forward for the shots at the boat house :-).
Heather & Chris, a big thank you for choosing me to shoot your wedding day – all I can say is, “wow”…what a fantastic day!!! Here’s just a few of my own favourites which I hope you like – click on any image to enlarge.
Please leave a comment…I love to know what you think
Family & friends (plus anyone else who might stop by), it would be fantastic if you could leave a comment at the bottom of the post (using either of the comment box options) as I love to hear what you think :-). Also, if you really like these pictures, why not give me a “Like” on my Facebook page to keep in touch with what I’m up to – would be great to have you on board!
