The third of my “triple header” wedding weekend took me back to one of my favourite venues, the award winning Balbirnie House, for the wedding of Joanne & Darren. Balbirnie’s one of those venues that, even if it rains, it still has plenty to offer indoors by way of great photography locations…but no such problems this day as, the same as all my weddings this weekend, the weather was spot on :-).
One of the great things about both the bride & groom getting ready at the same place is that, for once, it gives me the opportunity to shoot some “groom prep” shots – nothing too much, as we know, the guys take nowhere near as long as the girls to get ready – 15-20 mins usually does it as the cravats and jackets go on, and it gives a nice balance to all the “bride prep” shots.
Joanne & Darren, a big thank you for choosing me to shoot your wedding day. Here’s just a few of my early favourites which I hope you like – click on any image to enlarge.
Please leave a comment…I love to know what you think
Family & friends (plus anyone else who might stop by), it would be fantastic if you could leave a comment at the bottom of the post (using either of the comment box options) as I love to hear what you think :-). Also, if you really like these pictures, why not give me a “Like” on my Facebook page to keep in touch with what I’m up to – would be great to have you on board!
