Apologies for the radio silence on the blog over the last couple of weeks! It may well be the quiet time of the year in terms of weddings, but this is traditionally also the time of the year when I clear the decks, do my tax return (groan!) and update my website all ready for 2017’s weddings.
So, back on track today and continuing with blogging the remainder of last year’s wedding days, and taking you back to mid October and only my second ever trip to the fairly local Broomhall Castle for Karen & Fergus’s big day.
During our pre-wedding meeting, the guys had told me that they preferred a more natural approach to the day as opposed to lots of posing and, as usual, I was happy to oblige. Great day all round and a joy to photograph and, unless my memory has failed me, the only time the groom has ever piped himself in to the reception :-).
Karen & Fergus, a big thank you for choosing me to shoot your fantastic day. Here’s just a few of my own favourites which I hope you like – click on any image to enlarge.

Family & friends (plus anyone else who might stop by), it would be fantastic if you could leave a comment at the bottom of the post (using either of the comment box options) as I love to hear what you think :-). Also, if you really like these pictures, why not give me a “Like” on my Facebook page to keep in touch with what I’m up to – would be great to have you on board!
Looking for wedding photography at Broomhall Castle…or anywhere else?
If you’re looking for a wedding photographer and like what you see in this post, why not check out my full wedding portfolio to get a good feel for my style of shooting. To get in touch, just drop me an email, tell me all about your day and what you’re looking for from your photography, and I’ll get right back to you – but do get in touch as soon as possible, as key dates do tend to get booked up around 18-24 months in advance!
