Sitting here today in the wind and rain, it’s hard to forget that not so long ago we were enjoying some gorgeous sunny weather which was a total joy in which to shoot weddings. Zara & Craig’s big day was just that and also my last wedding before my two week holiday in Majorca – yep, right in the middle of peak wedding season, but with boys of school age in the house, it’s the only time that I can realistically get away without incurring the wrath of the local authorities!
I’d been to Cameron House a few times already this year, for a wedding and a couple of pre-wedding shoots…indeed, Zara & Craig chose to have their shoot here a few months ago, so fair to say I was pretty familiar with the surroundings, which always helps a wee bit come the wedding day. The fabulous weather meant we had an outdoor ceremony…always great to shoot as there’s just so much room to move around – many’s a time I’ve been wedged into a small corner during a ceremony with little room to breathe let alone move!
And let us not forget the cameo played by the singing waiters during the meal…certainly got everyone going ahead of the dancing in the evening :-).
Zara & Craig, a big thank you for choosing me to shoot your fantastic day. Here’s just a few of my own favourites which I hope you like – click on any image to enlarge.
