Wedding Photography at Crossbasket Castle : Joanna & Jonny

Certainly was a glorious weekend there back at the end of September last year and here I was out on another wedding “double header” yet again – the previous day at The Cruin (check it out guys), followed by my first ever visit to the fabulous Crossbasket Castle for Joanna & Jonny’s big day :-).

It’s a funny thing (or maybe not depending on your point of view), but I must’ve driven past Crossbasket hundreds of times before without actually knowing it was there, well hidden that it is from the main drag. But boy, what a venue!

Of course, as usual my day kicked off with a wee bit of bridal prep, as you do, followed by a trip to the impressive Motherwell Cathedral (another first) for the ceremony. Always great to see a few familiar faces amongst the other suppliers too – Dominic at Reflections, Caledonian Cowboy on piping duty and the guys in Franco, who I’m sure will have rocked the joint well into the night!

Joanna & Jonny, thank you very much for choosing me to shoot your fabulous day. Here’s a few of my favourite shots which I hope you all like…PS – best viewed on a desktop (click on any thumbnail to view L A R G E!).

Please all feel free to leave a comment at the bottom, as I love to know what you think…cheers all!

Looking for some “Ninja Style” Wedding Photography?

I love shooting weddings and, for the most part, I adopt a “ninja style” low key approach to the day! Most couples tell me they didn’t even notice me for the majority of the day and that suits me…it is your wedding day after all, not a photo-shoot! But, I will always make time for those important family group shots and also, a relaxed bride & groom shoot and here, it’s my aim to provide you with some truly amazing pictures…not just your standard stuff :-). To know more about my wedding day  approach to how I shoot weddings, just click here.

I’m mainly taking bookings now for 2020 & 2021…but I do have a very limited number of 2019 dates still available.

Full day coverage collections start at £1500…but don’t forget my cheeky wee discount where you can save up to £500 :-).

And, if you’re looking at this post before the 15th March, check out my “double discount” offer for some additional amazing savings :-).

Mike :-).
