Wedding no.5 of the year for me took me back to Glenskirlie Castle, a venue where I think it’s fair to say I’ve been quite a few times now – you know that when the staff give you that “knowing nod” when you first walk in. Of course, knowing a venue well does have its benefits, in that you know all the best places to shoot, where the sun’s going to be to avoid those squinting eye shots and, let’s not speak too loudly, where to go indoors if it rains!
Well guys, let me tell you that rain was certainly no issue on Yvonne & Sasha’s big day as we were blessed with bright sunshine all day long, well, not quite all day… not after dark and all that! And, being a creature of the night :-), I do love the odd dark shot or two, especially at Glenskirlie these days now that they have lights on the trees in the gardens, although fair play to the guys for heading outside after dinner as I can tell you it was freezing at that point, but worth it for the shots I think.
Yvonne & Sasha, a big thank you for choosing me to shoot your fantastic day. I loved shooting your fabulous wedding day and here’s just a few of my own favourites which I hope you like – click on any image to enlarge.
