Very soon folks, I kid you not, I will actually be blogging a wedding that took place in the same year as the actual post…until that day though, I’m continuing with my (seemingly futile) attempt to bring things more up to date. Back in December, yes I know, “DECEMBER” :-(, my run of weddings continued with another trip round to Loch Lomond, The Cruin to be exact, for Amy & David’s big day.
I’d shot Amy’s sister Ailsa’s wedding a few years previous, so it was great to see a few familiar faces on the day itself. But boy those weather gods certainly weren’t on our side! December weddings are never going to be warm…I should know as I got married in December myself. But throw in the strong gusty wind as well and that chill factor was probably the coldest I’d experienced in a long time…could barely hold the camera! And let us not forget the rain as well that punctuated most of the day…check out the shots of the guests arriving for the ceremony at St. Mahew’s!
Still, once we got to The Cruin, we did manage to get the guys out on to the jetty for a few quick shots where, amazingly for a very brief spell, we were blessed with a fabulous early evening sky…didn’t last long though before the heavens opened again!
Amy & David, thank you very much for choosing me to shoot your fabulous day and for braving the freezing cold to get those jetty shots. Here’s a few of my favourite shots which I hope you all like…PS – best viewed on a desktop (click on any thumbnail to view L A R G E!).
Please all feel free to leave a comment at the bottom, as I love to know what you think…cheers all!

Getting Married & Looking for some “Ninja Style” Wedding Photography?
I love shooting weddings and, for the most part, I adopt a “ninja style” low key approach to the day! Most couples tell me they didn’t even notice me for the majority of the day and that suits me…it is your wedding day after all, not a photo-shoot! But, I will always make time for those important family group shots and also, a relaxed bride & groom shoot and here, it’s my aim to provide you with some truly amazing pictures…not just your standard stuff :-). To know more about my wedding day approach to how I shoot weddings, just click here.
Full day coverage collections start at £1300…but don’t forget my cheeky wee discount where you can save up to £400 :-).
Mike :-).
Stunning as always x
