Back at the end of May, I was out on my fifth visit of the year to The Vu, where I’ve probably shot more weddings than anywhere else over the nine years that I’ve been doing this thing called wedding photography, so fair to say I know the place pretty well by now :-). The reason…Chloe & Kyle’s big day :-).
Part of my planning for any wedding is to keep one eye on what the weather’s likely to be doing come the day as, although I’ll always have a plan B in case of rain, some venues, The Vu being one of them, do rely more on being outside than in. So folks, it was with a certain air of trepidation that I set off in the morning with a touch of drizzle in the air albeit thankfully, this had eased by the time we headed down on to the jetty for our bride & groom shoot post ceremony.
The murky grey skies were pretty much with us all day long but, you guys that have been following me for a while now, will know that I love a touch of moody sky!
Chloe & Kyle, it was an honour to photograph your fabulous wedding day. Here’s just a few of my own favourites which I hope you like – click on any image below to view big!
Please all feel free to leave a comment at the bottom, as I love to know what you think…cheers all!
