Start of a really busy Easter weekend for me today kicking off with a double header of pre-wedding shoots and I’m in Luss on the banks of Loch Lomond first up for Roslynd & Keith’s pre-wedding shoot. Of course, you always hope for good weather for these shoots wherever you are, but especially in a location like this. Unfortunately, this wasn’t really the case today as it was a bit cold and overcast, but personally I think that adds a bit of “something” to these images – I like the “mistiness” (if there is such a word) coming off of the Loch.
Luss is a great little place for these type of shoots, offering plenty of different options. We stuck mainly to the beach and pier areas, but a short walk inland provides a ton of different options, even woodland. I’m reliably informed that this village is where they filmed “Take the High Road” back in the day, so if it’s good enough for TV, it’s good enough for me.
The guys are getting married next month at Glenskirlie Castle and I’m really looking forward to that one as Glenskirlie is a great venue. Meantime, here’s a selection of my favourite images from today’s shoot. The full set, as usual, can be found in the online gallery (password required).
