Boy did I shoot some fabulous weddings back in the Spring and the latest of these I am very delighted to be featuring this time around for you good people :-).
Borthwick Castle lies to the south of Edinburgh and this was to be my first ever visit there and, if I’m being honest, I’d never actually heard of it before … but what an amazing unique venue it is and the perfect setting for Lucy & Mark’s big day. I mean, just take a look at some of the room shots below to get my gist :-). I certainly hope I get to go back a few times in the future.
So what of the day itself? Well, what can I say … with a mix of Scottish and Irish it was always gonna be a good one. And with my good self being half Irish and one eighth Scottish LOL (although English in general), I fitted in just fine as well :-). Anyway, as I always say, the pictures tell the story of the day better than I can, so here goes …

Looking for “Documentary” Wedding Photography?
If you’re on the look-out for a wedding photographer (or know someone who is), then you may just like my “ninja style” (a couple’s words, not mine) low key approach to the day! Most couples tell me they didn’t even notice me for the majority of the day and that suits me … it is your wedding day after all, not a photo-shoot!
My style is very unposed, unfussy and focuses more on documenting your day rather than directing it. Minimal group shots (or even none at all if you prefer) and short bride & groom shoots allow you spend more of the day with the people that matter and have a total blast!
I’m mainly taking bookings now for 2023 and 2024 … but I do now only shoot one wedding per weekend so dates can be very limited during peak times.
Full day coverage collections start at £1800 … but don’t forget my cheeky wee discount where you can save up to £500 :-).
