Well it’s been quite a few weeks since I posted something new to the blog … but I do have my reasons guys! Yes, a cheeky week away in Lanzarote followed by a fairly full on wedding schedule on my return, has resulted in the old blog taking a back seat of late … so putting that right today :-).
Back in early May, I got to shoot at not one, but two fabulous venues on the very same day, with Hannah & Paul celebrating their big day with a reception at the fabulous Radstone Hotel, preceded by the ceremony taking place at the very beautiful surroundings of Chatelherault Country Park – now that’s what I call a “double header”!
So what of the day itself? Well, apart from another bout of equipment failure for the second wedding this year (thank god for back-ups!), I’ve got to say that this was one of the most enjoyable weddings I’ve shot in a long time; there were just so many of those “moments” throughout the whole day waiting to be captured but, as usual good people, I’ll let you be the ultimate judge – enough from me … on with the pictures …

Looking for “Documentary” Wedding Photography?
If you’re on the look-out for a wedding photographer (or know someone who is), then you may just like my “ninja style” (a couple’s words, not mine) low key approach to the day! Most couples tell me they didn’t even notice me for the majority of the day and that suits me … it is your wedding day after all, not a photo-shoot!
My style is very unposed, unfussy and focuses more on documenting your day rather than directing it. Minimal group shots (or even none at all if you prefer) and short bride & groom shoots allow you spend more of the day with the people that matter and have a total blast!
I’m mainly taking bookings now for 2023 and 2024 … but I do now only shoot one wedding per weekend so dates can be very limited during peak times.
Full day coverage collections start at £1800 … but don’t forget my cheeky wee discount where you can save up to £500 :-).
