If you had told me a week ago (when we were sitting in what felt like sub-zero temperatures), that we were going to have a few scorching hot days (well, in Scotland they count as scorching hot days), then, well, let’s say, I wouldn’t have believed you. But, there we have it and, following my own advise to self from a couple of days ago, I made sure that the old factor 15 was liberally applied before heading out to the gorgeous setting of South Queensferry for Wendy & Jason’s wedding.
The guys had flown in from the States for the wedding so I’d only been able to correspond by email up to today so it was great to finally meet up after all this time. The wedding was kept to just close family members and I’d been asked to cover the ceremony, a handful of family groups shots and finally the bride & groom coverage. In my opinion, a location such as South Queensferry does really rely on the weather to bring out the best in the images – seems to be the way of it where any water is involved.
So, here we are guys, just a few of my favourite images; the full set can be found in your online gallery (password required). Thanks for going along with my ideas today and, of course, for adding your own twist as well (always makes it a pleasure for us photographers). Hope you like.
