Back at Glenbervie today for the second time in four days – honestly, wedding venues are like buses sometimes; nothing for ages and then two come along together! Not that I’m complaining though, as I love shooting at Glenbervie and, here’s the thing, it’s only five minutes up the road from me, so Match of the Day is a distinct possibility. But not today though…firstly because, well, it’s a Thursday and also, more importantly, I have the honour of being a guest at the wedding as well.
Lesley & Mark are friends of ours and I was delighted when they asked if I would photograph their big day. And, being a guest meant, for once, that I was able to sit down at the reception and enjoy the meal, rather than bringing the usual sandwiches and a bag of crisps :-). And the great thing about today is that we’ve finally got some half decent weather – slightly chilly but the sun is shining and, believe me, I haven’t been able to use that line very much this year in my blog posts!
Weddings pretty much always have that “feel good” factor, and today has that and more; a real easy going feeling that’s just a joy to photograph and I hope that comes across in the images I’ve chosen below for the post. Guys, thank you for asking me to photograph your big day – you were great to work with and I hope you like the images. Here’s just a few of my own favourites.
Please feel free to leave a comment or two at the bottom of the post as it’s always very much appreciated. And, what would be totally phenomenal, is a “Like” on my Facebook page as it’s always great to get new people on board.
