Two blog posts in one week folks! Yep, things are looking up…and catching up!
Now, I wouldn’t say that January weddings are rare…not at all, in fact, there’s barely a January that goes by that I don’t shoot a wedding or two. But, generally speaking, it is one of the quieter months so, to get two January weddings on two consecutive days…well, that’s definitely a first for me in the ten years that I’ve been doing this wedding photography thing!
Gleddoch House was the venue this time around for Tracey & Sammy’s big day, only my second ever visit there, but quickly becoming one of my favourite places to shoot! In some way I feel I’ve only just scratched the surface of all the various places to shoot there so it’ll be good to explore a bit more with the three upcoming weddings that I have there soon :-).
So, what of Tracey & Sammy’s day? Well, what can I say. I always have this theory that the tone of the day is often set by what happens at the bridal prep! There should be a saying “what happens at bridal prep, stays at bridal prep” LOL. Let’s just say that it was fun to shoot, and leave it at that. And yes, it did very much set the tone for the day with me, as I like to do, pretty much just documenting what went on, rather than spending ages on tons of posed shots, although, of course, there is a place for a few of these :-). As usual though, I’ll let the pictures tell the story…
Tracey & Sammy, thank you very much for choosing me to shoot your fabulous day. Here’s a few of my favourite shots which I hope you all like…PS – best viewed on a desktop.
Please all feel free to leave a comment at the bottom of the page, as I love to know what you think…cheers all!

Looking for some “Ninja Style” Wedding Photography?
I love shooting weddings and, for the most part, I adopt a “ninja style” low key approach to the day! Most couples tell me they didn’t even notice me for the majority of the day and that suits me…it is your wedding day after all, not a photo-shoot! But, I will always make time for those important family group shots and also, a relaxed bride & groom shoot and here, it’s my aim to provide you with some truly amazing pictures…not just your standard stuff :-). To know more about my wedding day approach to how I shoot weddings, just click here.
I’m mainly taking bookings now for 2021…but I do have a limited number of 2020 dates still available too.
Full day coverage collections start at £1500…but don’t forget my cheeky wee discount where you can save up to £500 :-).
Mike :-).
