Back with another cracker for you today guys when, at the end of June I was out and about once again at my local venue, the fabulous Glenbervie House, this time around to shoot Emily & Jamie’s big day! This was also to be my last wedding before taking a wee break in sunny Kos – call it wedding season half-time if you like … or even a hydration break perhaps!
I was just about to mention the glorious weather but then I remembered that for a short period after the ceremony, we did actually have an absolute downpour that had us all running for cover to finish off the group shots indoors – still, a “wee” bit of rain never spoilt a great wedding and we were soon back outside in the sunshine with the guys and their wedding party for a few more chilled group shots and a super quick couple shoot – never let it be said that I keep you away from the party for too long!
Such a brilliant day, filled with plenty of amazing moments to shoot and great also to catch up with Louise & Dave (who’s wedding I shot a few years back) and their family & friends too – always brilliant to see some familiar faces!
Anyway, enough waffle from me – as usual, the pictures tell the story of the day better than I can …

Looking for Glenbervie House Wedding Photography … or anywhere for that matter?
If you’re getting married (or know someone who is), then you may just like my “ninja style” low key approach to the day! Most couples tell me they didn’t even notice me for the majority of the day and that suits me … it is your wedding day after all, not a photo-shoot!
My style is very unposed, unfussy and focuses more on documenting your day rather than directing it. Minimal group shots (or even none at all if you prefer) and short couple shoots allow you spend more of the day with the people that matter and have a total blast! For the past four years, I’ve been recognised by the WPJA as Scotland’s top ranked wedding photojournalist, so you know you’re in safe hands. And, in 2024, I was very honoured to be ranked as one of the Top 10 Photographers in the World in their Artistic Guild category … thank you guys!
I’m now taking bookings for 2027 & 2028 but, these days, I do only shoot around 20 weddings per year so dates can be very limited especially during the summer months. So do get in touch asap guys to check my availability.
