Back with another fabulous wedding for you today guys and, this time around, another September wedding when I took the short hop up to Stirling for Louise & Stuart’s big day and, what was from recollection my last “sunny warm weather” wedding of the year – yep, it was all downhill weather-wise from then on folks!
It’s kind of strange but, being just down the road in Falkirk and also having shot over 500 weddings, I’d never been to the Highland Hotel before, so that’s always a plus in my book as it’s great to shoot at new venues every now and then. I’d been told that the venue had an observatory that we could get access to come the day and that certainly didn’t disappoint in offering a unique backdrop for some of the couple shots – a touch breezy though as you can see from the images below!
What a brilliant day all round – great couple, great crowd and very chilled out (just the way I like things, allowing me to roam around and do my thing – unnoticed most of the time, hopefully).
Louise & Stuart, thank you very much for choosing me to shoot your fabulous wedding day! Here’s a few of my own favourite shots which I hope you all like.
Please do leave a comment though … it’s very much appreciated 🙂 – there’s a comment box right at the end of the pics!
On with the pictures …

Need A Ninja?
If you’re on the look-out for a wedding photographer (or know someone who is), then you may just like my “ninja style” (a couple’s words, not mine) low key approach to the day! Most couples tell me they didn’t even notice me for the majority of the day and that suits me … it is your wedding day after all, not a photo-shoot!
My style is very unposed, unfussy and focuses more on documenting your day rather than directing it. Minimal group shots (or even none at all if you prefer) and short couple shoots allow you spend more of the day with the people that matter and have a total blast!
Not sure if this is for you? Why not check this out for more details!
I’m mainly taking bookings now for 2025 & 2026 but do still have some limited availability for 2024 too … but I do now only shoot one wedding per weekend so dates can be very limited during peak times.
