Hey guys, so I started the week with a new wedding on the blog and I’m ending it the very same way, moving from my last wedding in August to the first in September, when I took the trip down into the Borders to shoot Sam & Colin’s big day at the beautiful setting of Howford House.
The day was just so chilled and laid back with just a small number of family & friends … tailor made for the way I shoot, allowing me to just roam around and capture all the goings-on without really bothering anyone too much! I say “too much” as we did set aside a short amount of time for a few group shots and a quick couple shoot, but, as per usual, the emphasis was very much on short & sweet and then back to the party!
Honestly, it’s great to be able to shoot days like this every now and then – so many weddings are time driven (they have to be) but, this day, ceremony aside, the guys just did everything on their terms, just whenever they wanted to, so absolutely no stressing whatsoever or rushing around … perfect!
Sam & Colin, thank you very much for choosing me to shoot your fabulous wedding day! Here’s a few of my own favourite shots which I hope you all like.

Need A Ninja?
If you’re on the look-out for a wedding photographer (or know someone who is), then you may just like my “ninja style” (a couple’s words, not mine) low key approach to the day! Most couples tell me they didn’t even notice me for the majority of the day and that suits me … it is your wedding day after all, not a photo-shoot!
My style is very unposed, unfussy and focuses more on documenting your day rather than directing it. Minimal group shots (or even none at all if you prefer) and short couple shoots allow you spend more of the day with the people that matter and have a total blast!

I’m mainly taking bookings now for 2025 & 2026 but do still have some limited availability for 2024 too … but I do now only shoot one wedding per weekend so dates can be very limited during peak times.
