Wedding No.4 of the year took me a bit closer to home for once as I headed to Grangemouth for Stephanie & Aidan’s big day, and, would you believe, yet more glorious weather, well for March anyway … always a bonus when you don’t need to worry about where you’re going to shoot indoors if it’s raining outdoors :-).
After a stop off at the house for the bridal prep shots, I headed along to the Kirk of the Holy Rood church for the ceremony followed by another short trip over to the Leapark Hotel for the reception, my first ever visit to this venue :-).
And what a day!!! Honestly, there were so many fabulous moments to shoot … and that’s what I love doing most of all – not awkward posing and stuff like that, but real, genuine moments. Even the “posed” parts of the day (and these are minimal :-)), it’s really just a case of putting everyone in position and going with the flow … no faffing about posing every body part intricately and all that LOL.
Anyway, no more waffle … on with the pictures to tell the story of the day … oh, and can you spot the bee that freaked the guys out during the couple shoot LOL …

Looking for “Documentary” Wedding Photography?
If you’re on the look-out for a wedding photographer (or know someone who is), then you may just like my “ninja style” (a couple’s words, not mine) low key approach to the day! Most couples tell me they didn’t even notice me for the majority of the day and that suits me … it is your wedding day after all, not a photo-shoot!
My style is very unposed, unfussy and focuses more on documenting your day rather than directing it. Minimal group shots (or even none at all if you prefer) and short bride & groom shoots allow you spend more of the day with the people that matter and have a total blast!
I’m mainly taking bookings now for 2023 and 2024 … but I do now only shoot one wedding per weekend so dates can be very limited during peak times.
Full day coverage collections start at £1800 … but don’t forget my cheeky wee discount where you can save up to £500 :-).
