For my penultimate wedding of 2022, I was back once again at the fabulous Lodge on Loch Lomond, this time around for Caitlyn & David’s big day. I think it would be fair to say that I’ve shot at Lodge on the Loch more than most venues, so certainly know my way around LOL and, it’s good to see that they’re still using my pictures in their wedding brochure :-).
So let’s talk about the weather … yeah, it wasn’t the best – one of the those very overcast, drizzly days very typical of Loch Lomond, well, a lot of the times I’ve been there anyway. But, would you believe it, by some minor miracle, we did manage to dodge the rain long enough to get outside a bit for pictures – even a quick whistle stop trip to Luss Pier as well, no less … happy days!

Caitlyn & David, thank you very much for choosing me to shoot your amazing wedding day and for venturing outside in the none too friendly conditions! Looking for “Documentary” Wedding Photography?
If you’re on the look-out for a wedding photographer (or know someone who is), then you may just like my “ninja style” (a couple’s words, not mine) low key approach to the day! Most couples tell me they didn’t even notice me for the majority of the day and that suits me … it is your wedding day after all, not a photo-shoot!
My style is very unposed, unfussy and focuses more on documenting your day rather than directing it. Minimal group shots (or even none at all if you prefer) and short couple shoots allow you spend more of the day with the people that matter and have a total blast!
I’m mainly taking bookings now for 2024 & 2025 but do still have some limited availability for this year too … but I do now only shoot one wedding per weekend so dates can be very limited during peak times.
