Wow, is it really only just over two weeks ago that I ventured east to one of my most favourite venues, the fabulous Pratis Barns, to shoot Abi & Ben’s wedding day :-). Definitely seems a lot longer than that … but then I have shot another couple of weddings in short time since, so I guess that explains things .. to me anyway!
OK, so Pratis Barns. I’ve shot a few weddings here now over the years, the very first being Katy & Pete’s back in 2016 who, by one of those coincidence things, just happened to be guests at this one! And, yes, my editing style has changed a bit since then too. I just love this venue – every time I come here something seems to have changed, for the better of course – the railway sleeper I slipped on back in 2016 has gone too, so all is good with the world :-).
Abi & Ben’s big day was the absolute perfect chilled out kind of day that I love to shoot – minimal posing and fuss, allowing me just to roam around and capture all the goings on, and there were plenty of those! In fact, most weddings I shoot at Pratis seem to be that way, with couples just wanting to have a great party without too much formality … and all the better for it in my book as that’s how I roll too these days folks!
Anyway, enough waffle from me … as always, the pictures will tell the story of the day better than I can …
