Back with another fabulous wedding day adventure for you good people and today, I’m taking you back just a few weeks (yep, I’m still fairly up straight with my blogging) when I ventured over to the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond, the Lodge on Loch Lomond to be precise, to shoot Melanie & Jimmy’s big day and, lest we not forget, their dog Oakley too (who was so well behaved btw) :-).
Backdrops don’t come much better than Loch Lomond and, when the good old Scottish weather plays ball too and you get to have an outdoor ceremony, well that’s just a win-win all round in my book! I mean, just look at that setting! I’ve shot many a wedding at the Lodge and it truly is one of my favourite venues, whatever the weather.
A slightly shorter day for me as I wasn’t needed for bridal prep this time but, once I got going, the day was just full of so many great moments to shoot. As always, we did make some time for a few group shots and a short couple shoot on the beach & jetty but, for the most part, I just adopted my usual candid, documentary approach to the day and captured the goings on … and there were plenty of those.
Anyway, enough waffle from me … as always, the pictures will tell the story of the day better than I can …
Melanie & Jimmy, thank you very much for choosing me to shoot your amazing wedding day! Here’s a few of my own favourite shots which I hope you all like.
Please do leave a comment though … it’s very much appreciated 🙂 – there’s a comment box right at the end of the pics!
