Back with another fabulous album design for you today guys; honestly, a bit like buses, nothing for ages and then two in quick succession. Hazel & Duncan’s fabulous day at Sherbrooke Castle took place last August and, honestly, what a day that was – don’t take my word for it though, why not head on over to the full blog post for the bigger picture …
When it comes to albums, I only ever use one supplier, Graphistudio in Italy, one of, if not the best, wedding album manufacturer in the world. As well as the range of albums they offer, the options in terms of materials and colours are staggering, not withstanding the option to fully customise the album to your own taste – basically, if you can draw it on paper, Graphistudio can print it on the album – I don’t know of any other lab that can do that!!!
The guys opted for the Young Book album that comes with my popular Mezzo package and decided to add an extra 10 pages to the standard 50 contained in the package in order to incorporate all their favourite shots – you can have up to 100 pages in total with the Young Book if you choose … and yes, it’s a bit of a beast!!!
For the album, Hazel & Duncan had the idea of incorporating artwork from their invites into the design and also came up with their own bespoke design for the cover of both the album and box. For the box cover, the full design was overlaid on to a warm grey maple material with just their initials part of the design then used for the album cover, overlaid on to a midnight blue leather material. The invite artwork was added to the inside of the box lid on a plain white background and fininshed off with a white ribbon. And, it looked stunning!
Anyway, here’s a little slideshow with some pics of the actual album followed by the design itself.
Please feel free to leave a comment if you like … it’s very much appreciated 🙂 – there’s a comment box right at the end of the pics!
The Pictures
Looking for Sherbrooke Castle Wedding Photography … or anywhere for that matter?
If you’re getting married (or know someone who is), then you may just like my “ninja style” (a couple’s words, not mine) low key approach to the day! Most couples tell me they didn’t even notice me for the majority of the day and that suits me … it is your wedding day after all, not a photo-shoot!
My style is very unposed, unfussy and focuses more on documenting your day rather than directing it. Minimal group shots (or even none at all if you prefer) and short couple shoots allow you spend more of the day with the people that matter and have a total blast! Find out more here about the way I work.
For the past four years, I’ve been recognised by the WPJA as Scotland’s top ranked wedding photojournalist, so you know you’re in safe hands :-).
I’m mainly taking bookings now for 2027 & 2028 but do still have some limited availability for this year too … but I do now only shoot one wedding per weekend so dates can be very limited during peak times. So do get in touch asap guys to check my availability.
