Mossedge Village Wedding Photography

OK 2026 … we are off and running! Two weddings in quick succession over the last few weeks and delighted today to be featuring the second of those when I ventured over to Mossedge Village, my first visit there, to shoot Ashley & David’s big day!

Now this was no ordinary wedding day let me tell you. An early evening ceremony had been planned with just a handful of family and friends, followed by a big surprise for the evening guests who had no idea they were about to attend a wedding reception – they thought they were coming to celebrate the guys’ engagement and also David’s birthday. Imagine the surprise then when Ashley was announced into the room wearing a wedding dress … what a fabulous moment!

For me, again, the day was very hands off just shooting what I saw with just a brief stop for a handful of group shots after the ceremony … just the way I like it – there’s no better moments than “real” moments!

Great to catch up again with some familiar faces; Ashley’s sister Amanda whose wedding to Mark I shot back in 2019, and also Stephanie & Jamie who’s wedding I had the honour of capturing in 2023 – good to see you again guys!

Looking for Mossedge Village Wedding Photography … or anywhere for that matter?

If you’re getting married (or know someone who is), then you may just like my “ninja style” low key approach to the day! Most couples tell me they didn’t even notice me for the majority of the day and that suits me … it is your wedding day after all, not a photo-shoot!

My style is very unposed, unfussy and focuses more on documenting your day rather than directing it. Minimal group shots (or even none at all if you prefer) and short couple shoots allow you spend more of the day with the people that matter and have a total blast! For the past four years, I’ve been recognised by the WPJA as Scotland’s top ranked wedding photojournalist, so you know you’re in safe hands. And, in 2024, I was very honoured to be ranked as one of the Top 10 Photographers in the World in their Artistic Guild category … thank you guys!

I’m now taking bookings for 2027 & 2028 but, these days, I do only shoot around 20 weddings per year so dates can be very limited especially during the summer months. So do get in touch asap guys to check my availability.
