Back at the start of April last year, I headed out on my first ever visit to the Radstone Hotel for Hannah & Gary’s big day, which was to be my 11th wedding out of what would eventually become 63!
It’s always great to shoot at new venues – they bring with it a new challenge, new backdrops and new compositions…all guaranteed to keep you on your toes, which can’t be a bad thing…nothing worse than to stagnate and just keep doing the same old thing week in week out! And then there’s the weather to contend with. April can be a very mixed bag – at one extreme it can feel like winter or, if you’re lucky, at the other it can almost feel like summer :-). Time elapsed permits me from recalling exactly how warm (or not) that it was but one thing I do know is that we had a very mixed day – rain up until dinner and then clear skies afterwards allowing us to get out and about and shoot some couple shots.
Always fabulous to catch up as well with couples who’s weddings I’ve shot previously :-). I counted three this time around and add to the fact that I’d bumped into Hannah & Gary at a couple of those as well, I think it’s fair to say that there were a lot of familiar faces kicking around :-).
Guys, thank you very much for choosing me to shoot your fabulous day. Here’s a few of my favourite shots which I hope you all like…PS – best viewed on a desktop (click on any thumbnail to view L A R G E!).
Please all feel free to leave a comment at the bottom, as I love to know what you think…cheers all!

Looking for some “Ninja Style” Wedding Photography?
I love shooting weddings and, for the most part, I adopt a “ninja style” low key approach to the day! Most couples tell me they didn’t even notice me for the majority of the day and that suits me…it is your wedding day after all, not a photo-shoot! But, I will always make time for those important family group shots and also, a relaxed bride & groom shoot and here, it’s my aim to provide you with some truly amazing pictures…not just your standard stuff :-). To know more about my wedding day approach to how I shoot weddings, just click here.
I’m mainly taking bookings now for 2020 & 2021…but I do have a very limited number of 2019 dates still available.
Full day coverage collections start at £1500…but don’t forget my cheeky wee discount where you can save up to £500 :-).
Mike :-).
