Wedding Photography at The Parsonage Leanne & Sam

Sitting here today, so close to Christmas, freezing temperatures and ice on the ground, looking back at Leanne & Sam’s big day at The Parsonage on a glorious sunny, warm August day, does indeed feel a million miles away. But, in many ways, and, you could argue, the only way, isn’t that really what photography is all about…images that take you back to a day in your past, near or far.

I’ve always held a belief that pictures gain more value over time and, as your own memories of the day start to fade, the pictures are the one thing that brings it all flooding back :-).

Anyway, before I become far too nostalgic on this fine day, back to the wedding. The guys had picked on of my favourite (and local) venues to celebrate their big day, The Parsonage at Dunmore Park. Just love it there…it’s one of those venues where, even if it rained, there would still be lots of fabulous spots indoors to shoot…so it’s a “win-win” either way.

Honestly, from where I stood, the day was just about perfect, from the fabulous ceremony conducted by Sandy Geddes, to the entertaining speeches, and all rounded off by one of the best bands around, The Cartel who, bizarrely, I was to work with again at my very next wedding, the very next day :-).

Leanne & Sam, thank you very much for choosing me to shoot your big day and I look forward to working with you now on your wedding album :-). Here’s a few of my favourite shots from the day which I hope you all like…PS – best viewed on a desktop (click on any thumbnail to view L A R G E!).

Please all feel free to leave a comment at the bottom, as I love to know what you think…cheers all!

Looking for some “Ninja Style” Wedding Photography?

I love shooting weddings and, for the most part, I adopt a “ninja style” low key approach to the day! Most couples tell me they didn’t even notice me for the majority of the day and that suits me…it is your wedding day after all, not a photo-shoot! But, I will always make time for those important family group shots and also, a relaxed bride & groom shoot and here, it’s my aim to provide you with some truly amazing pictures…not just your standard stuff :-). To know more about my wedding day  approach to how I shoot weddings, just click here.

Packages start at £800.

Mike :-).
