Boy has my blogging fallen behind since Christmas…to be expected I guess but, as this is my first blog post of the year…a Happy New Year to one and all!!!
So, now that we’re back in business for 2018, and also as it’s a fairly quiet time of the year on the wedding front, I’m going full throttle to blog all those remaining fabulous weddings from the back end of 2017 and today, I’m delighted to be sharing what was wedding no. 33 of the year for me (and also the second of a wedding “triple header”), with Nicole & Marc on my first ever visit to The Waterside Hotel over on the West Coast.
I’d previously shot the weddings of two of Nicole’s bridesmaids, Siobhan and Roisin, so it was great to see a few familiar faces on the day which, as usual for me started off with a few bridal prep shots before heading to Our Lady of Lourdes Chapel in East Kilbride for the ceremony.
It was very much a case of “fingers crossed” for the weather as the day was punctuated with some pretty heavy showers that threatened to force us indoors all day. But, “Lady Luck” was shining on us and by the time we reached the Waterside for the reception, the clouds had parted to give us just enough time to work through all the family shots and then, a short bride & groom shoot after dinner.
Nicole & Marc, thank you very much for choosing me to shoot your big day – boy do you guys know how to have a good time :-). Here’s a few of my favourite shots from the day which I hope you all like…PS – best viewed on a desktop (click on any thumbnail to view L A R G E!).
Please all feel free to leave a comment at the bottom, as I love to know what you think…cheers all!

Looking for some “Ninja Style” Wedding Photography?
I love shooting weddings and, for the most part, I adopt a “ninja style” low key approach to the day! Most couples tell me they didn’t even notice me for the majority of the day and that suits me…it is your wedding day after all, not a photo-shoot! But, I will always make time for those important family group shots and also, a relaxed bride & groom shoot and here, it’s my aim to provide you with some truly amazing pictures…not just your standard stuff :-). Packages start at £800.
