March weddings – you never know what you’re going to get weather wise. It’s that turning of the season kind of thing…you can get those fabulous Spring like days or, equally, it can still feel like Winter. I once heard a saying about March in that it “comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb” – so what of a wedding in the middle of the month then…probably a bit of both I guess!
Anne-Marie & Iain’s big day at the fabulous Lodge on Loch Lomond was the first or my four March weddings and yes, we had a real mixed bag weather wise…rain around in the morning, making it just a bit too “sludgy” to venture down on to the sand for any shots, but then, some glorious skies in the early evening…and check the snow out on the hills – yep, it was a bit chilly!
But, as I always say, it’s the people that make the wedding and, you guys probably know, my style on the day is very documentary anyway, capturing the real essence of the day…with just a sprinkling of family and couple shots…not too much though as I don’t like to keep you away from the party :-). Anyway guys, as usual, the pictures can tell the story of the day better than I can…so here goes!
Anne-Marie & Iain, thank you very much for choosing me to shoot your fabulous day. Here’s a few of my favourite shots which I hope you all like…PS – best viewed on a desktop.
Please all feel free to leave a comment at the bottom of the page, as I love to know what you think…cheers all!

Looking for some “Ninja Style” Wedding Photography?
I love shooting weddings and, for the most part, I adopt a “ninja style” low key approach to the day! Most couples tell me they didn’t even notice me for the majority of the day and that suits me…it is your wedding day after all, not a photo-shoot! But, I will always make time for those important family group shots and also, a relaxed bride & groom shoot and here, it’s my aim to provide you with some truly amazing pictures…not just your standard stuff :-). To know more about my wedding day approach to how I shoot weddings, just click here.
I’m mainly taking bookings now for 2021…but I do have a limited number of 2020 dates still available too.
Full day coverage collections start at £1500…but don’t forget my cheeky wee discount where you can save up to £500 :-).
