A few days ago, I had one of those extremely rare events – a weekend without a wedding!!! Yes folks, it does happen now and then…almost as rare as a solar eclipse though – think I have two more between now and October. That said, a weekend without a wedding it may have been…but a weekend without shooting it was not, as I was out with Rosalyn & Stuart on their pre-wedding shoot.
The guys chose the grounds of Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh for the shoot, the place where they actually met :-). I’d never been here before myself but I never see that as a problem…in fact, it’s a bit of a challenge to come to an unfamiliar location and just start shooting – of course, I’d never do that for a wedding though – any new venue will always be “scouted” prior to the big day. The guys have nothing to worry about though as they’re getting married at The Vu where I’ve shot probably more than anywhere before.
Rosalyn & Stuart, a big thank you for going along with everything on the shoot and I hope you liked the images. Here’s just a few of my favourites – just click on any thumbnail to start the viewer.
Please leave a comment…
It would be fantastic if you could leave a comment at the bottom of the post as I love to hear what you think :-), and, you can help the guys win my monthly competition to win an 18″ x 12″ framed print of their choice. Also, if you really like these pictures, why not give me a “Like” on my Facebook page to keep in touch with what I’m up to – would be great to have you on board!
