First blog post of the year guys so let me start off by wishing you all a Happy New Year and all that! Found a sneaky couple of hours free today before I start back at it officially next week, so thought I’d pop into the office and share some more new stuff with you good people. So today then, I’m heading back to the first of my three weddings in October last year, when I was out and about once again at the fabulous Boclair House, this time to shoot Rebecca & Darren’s big day.
Not quite another wedding “double header”, but it was the first of two weddings I shot in three days just before I headed off for a cheeky 10 days in Kos, and what a great way to finish up before I left. And yes, as you can from the shots below, it was yet another one of those rain days – boy we did seem to have a lot of those last year but, on the upside, it did stop briefly later in the day allowing us to get outside for a wee bit, especially good for shooting the nighttime shots that I just love at Boclair.
What a brilliant day all round and, as usual, I’ll leave the pictures to tell the story of the day.
Rebecca & Darren, thank you very much for choosing me to shoot your fabulous wedding day! Here’s a few of my own favourite shots which I hope you all like.
Please do leave a comment though … it’s very much appreciated 🙂 – there’s a comment box right at the end of the pics!
On with the pictures …

Need A Ninja?
If you’re on the look-out for a wedding photographer (or know someone who is), then you may just like my “ninja style” (a couple’s words, not mine) low key approach to the day! Most couples tell me they didn’t even notice me for the majority of the day and that suits me … it is your wedding day after all, not a photo-shoot!
My style is very unposed, unfussy and focuses more on documenting your day rather than directing it. Minimal group shots (or even none at all if you prefer) and short couple shoots allow you spend more of the day with the people that matter and have a total blast!
Not sure if this is for you? Why not check this out for more details!
I’m mainly taking bookings now for 2025 & 2026 but do still have some limited availability for this year too … but I do now only shoot one wedding per weekend so dates can be very limited during peak times.
